About Us

At Body Cadence Pilates, we believe in the transformative power of movement. We see movement as a way of tuning in to your body, fostering a deeper awareness of how it functions, and allowing you to move through life with greater ease. Our approach is centered on mindful, purposeful movement rooted in the timeless principles of Pilates, cultivating strength, flexibility, balance, and a deeper connection with your body’s natural rhythm.
Balance is at the core of our practice—not only in the body but in life. Through mindful breath work and conscious movement, we help foster alignment both physically and mentally, creating a foundation that promotes long-term well-being. This focus on alignment strengthens the body, prevents injury, and allows for more fluid, effortless movement in your daily life.

Pilates is for everyone, regardless of age, ability, or fitness level. Each session is tailored to meet the unique needs of every individual, offering a blend of challenge and accessibility, so you can feel confident in your body and empowered to enhance your mobility and overall quality of life.

Pilates is more than just building a strong core—it’s about creating a mindful connection between the body, mind, and spirit. We invite our clients to approach their practice as part of a broader wellness journey, one that promotes not only physical strength but also mental clarity and emotional balance. Whether you’re looking to improve flexibility, recover from injury, or simply find a deeper sense of calm and control, we’re here to support you every step of the way, guiding you toward a harmonious and balanced life.

Kate is a BASI-trained teacher who believes confidence begins with understanding who you are and what lights you up beyond your job.

She embraces a well-balanced lifestyle grounded in regular exercise and a healthy mindset — seeing it as an opportunity to build a healthy routine, take on challenges, and also allow herself the grace to step back and pause when needed before moving forward again.

Respecting that every body is different, Kate’s mission is to help others find the right tempo and flow, make progress step by step, and discover the joy that Pilates can bring to life.

“You can say what Pilates is in three words. Stretch with strength and control. And the control part is the most important because that makes you use your mind.”
